BUSES – Operation Control Centre & Depots
The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) hosts state-of-the art bus services, depots & operation control centers. Air-conditioned bus shelters, dedicated bus lanes and metro feeder buses are but a few ground breaking innovations by RTA in this region.
MARINE – Water Taxi
The Marine Agency is providing a new, quick, comfortable and luxurious water passenger service called the “Water Taxi”. This service will carry you across the creek channels and maritime routes. The water taxi has 18 berths in phase A, scattered in Dubai Creek and along the coast line.
RAIL – Dubai Metro
The Dubai Metro is the longest driverless metro system in the world! It opened in September 2009
and boasts a 220,000-square feet (20.500 m²), two-level interchange station which is also the largest
underground metro station complex in the world.
