Press Accreditation

Pre-registration is now closed. Media representatives may still register on-site at the registration desks providing they present a valid press card. They will receive a one-day anonymous press badge but no delegate bag. The guidelines below still apply to on-site registrations.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL THE GUIDELINES BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

  1. The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) welcomes all media (reporters, writers, photographers and videographers) to attend the 59th UITP World Congress and Mobility and City Transport Exhibition. To obtain press and media accreditation, journalists and media representatives wishing to attend must complete the Press & Media Accreditation Application form and submit it with a valid press credential to UITP.
  2. Applications are evaluated by the UITP Press Office on a case-by-case basis, and applicants will be notified when their press accreditation has been accepted.
Please note that you may be asked to submit your latest publication on public transport related issues to support your application.
  3. Press accreditations are granted to a limited number of qualified press and media representatives, hence it is recommended that you apply as early as possible, in order to assure your place at this event.
  4. Application form for press and media accreditation is available online. A valid press card/letter of assignment from media outlet must be submitted by fax/email to UITP’s Communications & Publication Department together with the filled application form to:

  5. Due to the limited number of accreditation provided, kindly limit media registration to one individual per outlet. Special requests for extra individuals for an outlet can be addressed to the Communications & Publication Department. Press & Media delegates may not bring accompanying persons to the Congress.
  6. Please note that the press & media accreditation does not include travel and accommodation fees.
